Mark Scanlan serves as Vice President of PFA, Inc. and Board President of Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties, bringing over 30 years of experience in leadership, community outreach, and organizational development. Passionate about creating lasting social impact, Mark has led numerous faith-based, youth, and community initiatives that uplift and support underserved populations. His background in strategic planning, sales, and executive management has helped position PFA as a leader in cutting-edge manufactured products. Mark brings the same drive and dedication to advancing Habitat’s mission, combining collaboration, compassion, and a strong vision for a more equitable world.

Jake Punzenberger helps individuals, families, and businesses build, manage, and preserve wealth through personalized investment strategies aligned with their goals and priorities. Drawing on nearly 20 years of leadership experience in consulting and communications, an MBA from George Washington University, and a finance-focused professional background, he provides strategic guidance in investment, risk, and liability management, along with access to specialized banking resources through Wells Fargo affiliates. Known for his client-first approach, Jake develops objective, long-term financial strategies while staying actively engaged in his community and family life in the West Bend area.

Hi! I am Maureen Amerling. I am blessed to be part of the Habitat Family and Board of Directors. I am an Assistant Vice President in Commercial Underwriting at West Bend Insurance Company. I enjoy building strong relationships with others, and I truly believe we need to support the communities in which we live and work. I sit on a few different boards in the community, and When I am not spectating at one of my son’s sports events, our family enjoys travel, MLB games, and just being outdoors.

Connor Day joined the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Washington & Dodge Counties in January 2025. Raised in a family of contractors, he developed a lasting appreciation for the trades and the value of hard work. As a financial advisor at Baird, Connor combines his professional expertise with his passion for serving the West Bend community. He lives in West Bend with his wife, Elizabeth, and their dog, Hollis, and enjoys spending time outdoors and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.

David Hill

Retired VP from Wabash

David Hill brings extensive leadership experience from a distinguished career in the manufacturing industry. Recently retired as Vice President of Parts and Services at Wabash, he previously served as General Manager of the company’s Tank Trailers division in Fond du Lac. His career also includes leadership roles with General Motors, Case Corporation, Pierce Manufacturing, and Knapheide Truck Equipment. A proud second-generation Habitat supporter, David continues his family’s legacy of service. He holds a B.S. from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Jackie Drover

Teacher

Jackie Drover joined the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Washington & Dodge Counties in 2025. A lifelong resident of West Bend, she is passionate about education and community involvement. Jackie teaches 5th grade math at Silverbrook School, where she finds joy in inspiring her students every day. She is excited to deepen her connection with Habitat and contribute to its mission of building homes and hope. Jackie has two adult children in college and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Austin Dodge

Assistant Professor Marquette School of Dentistry

Dr. Austin Dodge is a specialist periodontist and proud Wisconsin native. Born in the Fox Valley and raised in Stevens Point, he earned his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences, Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and M.S. in Periodontology from Marquette University. Guided by the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis—care for the whole person—Dr. Dodge strives to build strong partnerships with his patients to achieve lifelong oral health. He lives in West Bend with his wife, Amanda, and enjoys cooking, golfing with his twin brother, and exploring Wisconsin’s great outdoors.

Seth is a people leader with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. He currently serves as Plant Manager at Schreiber Foods West Bend facility. After several years of volunteering on work sites he is excited to bring his experience to the Board of Directors.

Juan De Hoyos

Juan grew up in a migrant community near Berlin, Wisconsin, where his father instilled in him the importance of preserving their heritage and pursuing education. As a student, Juan helped recruit other migrant children to attend school, encouraging families to see the value of learning and opportunity. His early experiences shaped his lifelong commitment to community, equity, and empowerment. Juan is proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building stability and hope for families through affordable housing.

Gabe Binversie

West Bend Insurance

Gabe Binversie grew up in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and joined the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Washington & Dodge Counties after volunteering on a 2024 home build in West Bend. He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2020 with a B.S. in Accounting and has since worked at West Bend Insurance Company, specializing in investment accounting and reporting. Grateful for the opportunity to serve in a new capacity with Habitat, Gabe brings enthusiasm and dedication. In his free time, he enjoys training for endurance events, including triathlons and distance runs.

Mike Wiedmeyer

Mike Wiedmeyer grew up on his family’s dairy farm in West Bend, one of many siblings who learned the value of hard work and community. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Lakeland College and has spent more than 30 years in manufacturing and operations with Douglas Dynamics in Milwaukee, where he currently serves as an Inventory Specialist. A dedicated Habitat volunteer for over 14 years, Mike is honored to serve as a board member. He enjoys swimming, biking, music, faith, and spending time outdoors.
