LOCATION: Office
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan and implement the construction projects of the Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties affiliate
• Obtain house plans, solicit bids and select vendors, coordinate the Gifts In Kind program in cooperation with staff, provide post-construction support as needed
• Investigate and research the suitability of potential sites and properties
TIME COMMITMENT:
• 1 Hour, monthly meetings
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Commitment to furthering the mission of Habitat for Humanity
• Interest in or experience with construction, architecture, real-estate, etc.
• Understanding of the process of building homes using volunteers and donated materials
SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Background knowledge of Habitat for Humanity
BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER:
• Satisfaction of contributing to the overall mission of Habitat for Humanity
• Participation in essential decisions regarding construction and home design

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Draft selection criteria, screen applications, interview and recommend applicants as prospective homeowners to Board of Directors
• Provide homeowners and prospective homeowners with a mutual support system, educational opportunities, and a forum for discussions pertaining to home ownership and maintenance
TIME COMMITMENT:
• Must attend monthly meetings
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Commitment to furthering the mission of Habitat for Humanity
SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Background knowledge of Habitat for Humanity
• Experience with and understanding of low-income families and their needs

• To witness and implement the Gospel of Jesus Christ by working with economically disadvantaged people to help them to create a better human habitat in which to live and work
• Guide and plan the future of the ministry of Habitat for Humanity of Washington and Dodge Counties
TIME COMMITMENT:
• Must attend quarterly meetings
• Must commit to serve until next annual meeting of Board of Directors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Commitment to furthering the mission of Habitat for Humanity
SKILLS PREFERRED:
• Background knowledge of Habitat for Humanity
